And then the world blames the pastor and calls him a thief, meantime every single person decided for himself how much to give.
I have one friend that lives in a community that doesn’t have much to give, but people in his church often give until it hurts. Because he is a very well known preacher in South Africa more than half his church is full of visitors from outside of his community every service. He has been called a thief in so many articles in the news, and people believe that his church can afford a good sound system and nice chairs because of what the local community gives. Fact is I don’t think they contribute 20% to the finances of the church.
Lol... I've heard some sermons like that.
