Romo Wasn't Built In A Day

It's actually taken 4 years.

That's right, for 4 years Tony Romo has been a backup quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys. But now, starting Sunday vs. the Panthers, he will be the starting quarterback charged with trying to help save this season as well as the future. Big Bill named Romo the starter today after too much T.O. from Bledsoe. (That's T.O. as in turnovers, not as in TO the big, loud mouth wide receiver.)

All I can say is: It's about time! I have felt all along that Romo should have gotten a chance to play a long time ago. Back in 2004 when Vinny (in)T was the QB, the Cowboys should have let Romo play in some of those games when it became obvious that the Cowboys were headed towards a losing season that eventually ended at 6-10. Instead Bill wasted all of that playing time on 42 year old Vinny who then was not even on the team the next year. Talk about a big time blunder. Big Bill has done nothing but mess up when it comes to the QB during his time here with the Cowboys.

Let's hope he's got it right this time or the future will be mighty bleak around here for Cowboys fans.
